Physical Description

With narrow shoulders, a pronounced medial keel and a flange at the waist, which is drawn down to a shallow point. The arm, side and waist edges are inwardly turned, the neck edge outwardly flanged, and these edges are bordered by large domed headed lining rivets with circular washers retaining some of the hessian lining At either side of the chest, close to the keel, is a mushroom headed stud for the attachment of a shoulder strap. The plate is pierced all round for a lining, but it is not marked. It has twenty-six lining rivets, none of which are missing.
