Physical Description

A sword bayonet having a straight deeply fullered blade with a rounded, double edged tip. The crossguard has a hooked quillon with a finial on the end. The grip is a polished composite material retained by two screws. The hilt has a sprung retaining catch and a small stud on the heel of the pommel. The scabbard is leather, considerably roughened by handling and the mounts are brass. The top mount has a frog stud retained by a steel screw, whilst the chape is one piece with a protective lip similar to that found on sword scabbards.
