Physical Description

A steel and wood framed device to enable rifles to be loaded and fired over a parapet. Of wood and metal construction. Wooden butt stock with metal butt plate. The metal parts have been painted green. Device runs from rear of metallic frame to top of frame, held by wing nuts. From centre of frame is a bracket for holding butt of rifle. Where bracket joins frame is an operating mechanism held to frame for operating the bolt handle on the rifle, when in use. Chain suspended from inner workings for attachment to rifle trigger.
