Physical Description

Of framed construction, the stiles extend to make the legs, the railes and stiles of front and sides inlaid with a chequer inlay of yew and oak. The six inset panels, three of which are doors, and the two narrow drawers are carved with a thistle pattern. The drawers move on runners fixed to the bottom of the drawers and working in a grooved rail set inside the carcase. The plain top has a moulded edge. The sides are split into three panels, the top and bottom panels have air holes punched into them. Back and bottom boards are nailed on.

Condition is good. The backboards are later replacements and the top has also had work done on it.
