Physical Description

The arrow has a wooden shaft with black binding above the head and below the nock. It is fletched with three flights of dark brown feathers with a rust-coloured sheen (probably eagle feathers). The nock is covered in shagreen which may have been green or gray in colour, but which has now discoloured to dark brown.The small triangular arrowhead has a rectanglular section with slight medial ridges and cylindrical socket.

Markings
Marked between two of the fletches with two bands or 'II' in black paint. It is not clear if these markings are contemporary or not.
