Physical Description

The arrow has a wooden shaft with black binding above the head and below the nock. It is fletched with three flights of dark brown feathers with a rust-coloured sheen (probably eagle feathers). The nock is covered in shagreen which may have been green in colour, but has now discoloured to dark brown.The small triangular arrowhead has a rectanglular section with slight medial ridges and cylindrical socket. The shaft and binding are slightly damaged above the head, with a small split and areas of loss.
