Physical Description

A top break revolver with locking latch above the hammer. The cylinder has unusual machined slots around it, which were discontinued on later models. The barrel has a full length top rib. The hammer and trigger retain traces of case hardening and the trigger guard is blued. The grips are two piece hard rubber, chequered with S&W logos on each. They are retained by a single screw. The butt has been drilled and tapped to accept a lanyard ring. The sights are V notch rear and blade front. The whole pistol is nickel plated
