Physical Description

A semi-automatic sporting carbine of a design similar to the Military M1 carbine. The recoil operated bolt is cocked by means of a short lever on the right of the receiver. The triggerguard is an aluminium casting, painted black. Loading is by means of a sprung gate forward of the triggerguard, the magazine being a tube type under the barrel. There is a safety button just behind the loading gate. The gun is fully stocked, the wood being varnished and unchequered, and it has a single front barrel band. The barrel is round and blued. Sights comprise a flip up blade rear, and ramp and bead front. The top of the receiver is drilled to accept a scope mounting.
