Physical Description

The head has two square section spikes, curved in at the base to join a round section socket, which has one rivet and a longitudinal split. At the base of the socket is a moulded lip, above which slide two saucer-shaped plates separated by a flattened iron ring. The wooden haft is of round section, with a strip of leather at the mid-point. The haft is warped and chipped. The points are bent.
