Physical Description

The head has a square section central tapering spike onto which is slotted a crescent of two curved blades of flattened diamond section joined by a square section socket. The spike widens to form a shoulder on which the socket rests and is secured in place by a thick square section steel collar.
The shaft is waisted below the head and widens to form the cylindrical socket.
The socket seam has split and the head has not completely been fitted onto the haft which is of plain dark wood.
