Provenance

Probably old Tower collection. Found in Waterloo Attic Room B.

Physical Description

Consisting of two scales overlapping downwards, each with a scalloped lower edge bordered by triple incised line decoration. Each scale is secured to a fragment of the leather glove by a externally flush rivet at the upper end.
The external surface has been acid cleaned, except at the upper end which was covered by the scale above.
