Physical Description

The head is surmounted by a spear blade having only slightly tapering stright sides and an angled point. At the base, this necks in to a square sectioned bar, pierced for two rectangular cross-bars that are split at their outer ends and rivetted to crescent shaped side blades with their concave edges facing outwards. Below the side blades, the head becomes facetted above a multifacetted moulding and a long plain tapering socket. The shaft is of dark stained wood of round section.
