Physical Description

The blade is made up from a crescent shaped blade having a low medial ridge, fastened with the convex edge facing forward. The outer points are slightly prolonged and turned upwards into hooks. This blade is riveted to a square sectioned bar that swells to a double step moulding, becomes baluster form above a facetted moulding and the long tapering socket. It is fitted with a round section stained wood shaft. Identified with concentric corrosion, February 2005.

Dimensions: length: overall 238 cm (93.75 in), Head length: 73 cm (28.75 in), Width of the head is 240 mm. Weight: The weight of the spear is 3.05 kg.
