Physical Description

Straight bolt with single shot capability. Three-quarter stock with broad chequering on the small. A rubber butt cover protects the shooter from the very heavy steel butt plate (which is used to counter-balance the heavy barrel.) The blued barrel is very heavy and is turned down, in diameter, for 7.25 in. (this to take the locking wires of the harpoon.) A crude notch backsight is attached to the bolt and a blade foresight to the muzzle.
