Physical Description

Steel barrel held to the fore-end by two slides. The lock with flat lock-plate and swan-necked cock is engraved with Royal cypher and TOWER. Stock with standard brass mounts except for a large screw-plate. A runner-bar has originally been fitted but this has been removed and the cut-outs for the forward fixing filled in. Ramrod of Elliott type with securing groove.
