Purchased at auction from Evans and Partridge, Stockbridge, Hampshire. Lot 66. 15th April 1992

Physical Description

Made of leather with two retaining straps and a brass lock, stamped SECURE PATENT. The interior is divided into six (6) compartments for holding fifty (50) cartridges each. A leather pull-out is fitted into each compartment for extracting the cartridges. The condition of the case is not great with te remnants of old travel labels still adhering to the lid and some of the stitched seams are split
