Physical Description

The head has sloping shoulders carved asleaves, and a spear point. The central section is fretted with flowers amid foliage and geometrical stems. At the base is a moulding comprising three ridges, joined to the base of the arrowhead by a low, pyramidal knop. The tang is long and slender. Traces of gilding survive on the moulding, knop and supporting leaves.
