Physical Description

A cheap self defence pistol comprising a pair of smoothbored barrels machined out of solid, hinged to open in the manner of a shotgun, and opened by a catch on the left side of the frame. The gun is single action, being cocked by means of the two hammers, both of which have vertical spurs. The triggers are of a folding type, and spring down once the hammers are cocked. The side of the lock is coarsely engraved with a chequered pattern. The grip is a one piece fluted wooden type commonly found on continental pistols. There is a steel butt cap and lanyard ring
