Notes

Valued with accessories and holster.
Adopted by the Swedes in 1940 from the Finnish Lahti model L-35, first delivered to the Swedish army in 1942. There were 83650 made, of which the odd 950 were for the Danish Free Corps in Sweden. Production of the M-40 stopped in 1946 but remained in service until the mid 1980's, when hotted up 9 mm. caused frames to crack. The M-40 was never considered as good as the original Finnish-made models.
