Physical Description

A good copy of a standard Pattern 1853 Enfield rifle, with polished steel lock,and round blued barrel with steel ramrod It is fully stocked and has three band barrels of blued steel. The buttplate, trigger guard and forend cap are brass. There is a ramp and ladder rear sight, and blade foresight. A brass escutcheon set into the left of the stock is engraved 'E.J.Plumridge.'
