Other swords of this pattern in the Royal Armouries which have the same short, straight quillon are: IX.2897, 2900, 3554, 3633, 5493, 6371, 7079, 7080, 7082, 7083, 7790-7797, 7818-7821, 7823, 7826, 7827. All are marked RHA (Royal Horse Artillery) except for IX.7082 which is marked X/RH (10th Royal Hussars), and IX.6371 where paint on the hilt may conceal markings. IX.346, IX.7081, and 7824, which are also marked RHA, have standard curved quillons. IX.7822, another with the standard curved quillon, is marked DHA which may be an error for RHA.
