Physical Description

It is of duplex construction, with a low neck, a medial ridge and a medium flange at the waist. The main edges have plain inward turns bordered at the neck and arms by single incised lines. At either arm is a mushroom headed stud for the shoulder straps. At either side is a belt hook. At the centre is a proof mark. The layers are folded over at the right side and shoulder, but open at the left, where they are secured by a rivet at the shoulder, except at the angle of the flange where they are crimped together. It is coated in thick black paint. There is a large suspension hole at either shoulder, and a bracket at the right side.
