Physical Description

Engraved portrait of Sir Samuel Meyrick, standing facing half left, with his left hand on his hip and holding a quill pen in his right, which is resting on a fluted breastplate. He is wearing the star of the Hanopverian Order which he received in 1832 after arranging the armour in the Tower and at Windsor.
Framed in dark wood, with a crude egg and dart moulding, used by C.J. ffoulkes for pictures displayed in his office.
Removed from frame, 1997, which is now in Leeds SI 112b
