The quillons are of circular section and spindle turned, terminating in an applied facetted steel bead finial (one missing). The remaining bead has a small integral loop for attachment, presumably, of a beaded chain knuckle guard. The arms are formed from six facetted steel beads, graded in size, the largest being on the inside, on a stiff steel wire. The inner and outer faces of the sleeve are pierced with two rectangular slots into which four facetted steel beads are strung.
