Physical Description

Bow plate, comprising a pommel plate and two side plates. The pommel plate has a roped central ridge and main edge, with fluted lower section. The side plates also have main edges with inward turns and roped edges, and vertically fluted lower sections. Each plate has two decorate applied brass strips with double incised lines. The plate was attached to its saddle by five screws, the pommel plate overlapping the sides.
