Physical Description

Of short-waisted form with an upward flanged, narrow neck, a medial ridge and a narrow flange at the waist. The edges of the neck and arm openings have plain inward turns. On each side of the chest is riveted a mushroom shaped stud which originally engaged the shoulder straps from the backplate. At each shoulder, is crudely pierced a later, large suspension hole, just below which is a smaller hole, probably for suspension. The left side of the chest bears two proof-marks. High at each side edge is a rivet, the left of which retains a flat hook probably for suspension.
