Physical Description

A short copper case with a very deep rim. There is no primer visible, the priming compound being held in a raised lip on the edge of the rim. The ignition mechanism comprises a copper flange surrounded by black powder; this directs the flash from the primer into the main charge. The bullet is a conicanl lead type with a flat nose
