Variations, losses, damage, etc: Buff-piece present. Hole pierced through edge of guard in line with back of blade. (As at 17/02/1992)

On outside of guard, under paint, on oval copper plate: '45'.On inside of blade, very close to buff, so difficult to read: crown over '?' over '3'.
