Physical Description

Single action mechanism. All the metal is browned apart from the hammer and the trigger. Safety catch on the left side. Two piece plain wooden stock plates. Loading gate on the right side of the weapon

Oval makers stamp beneath the cylinder on the left side. Inside is stamped: S&S - V.C.S. - C.G.H. - SUHL. ( Saur & Sohm, V.Chas. Schilling, C.G.Haenal. The consortium that made this revolver.). Stamped on butt-cap is the unit markings (See Notes)
