Physical Description

One-piece almond-sahped skull with 'pear-stalk' at apex and flattened brim with a narrow coutersunk border and roped inward turn. The base of the skull is encircled with twelve copper alloy-capped iron lining rivets with decorative copper alloy washers. One lining rivet is missing. Additionally their are two iron rivets at the rear of the skull for the attachment of a missing plume holder. The rear of the brim has been pierced with a suspension hole. The helmet is heavily patinated.
