Physical Description

Variations, losses, damage, etc: Blade has spear-point. Ribbed, wooden grip is damaged and lacks leather covering. One nick in cutting edge of blade. Remains of buff-piece present.

Inscriptions and Marks

On hilt, on rear quillon, side towards blade, stamped: 'A' over '19'.On inside of ricasso, under langet: illegible single character mark.On outside of blade: crown over '5'.On back of blade: 'B'; 'B'.
