Physical Description

Consist of a single plate which deepens to an obtuse point at the centre and has an upward flanged neck-opening. The lower edge has a partial inward turn. It has a keyhole stot on the right which would have engaged a mushroom-headed stud on the rear plate, and a rivet-hole to attach it on the left side. At either side and at the centre are pairs of dome-headed rivets for the articulation of a missing neck lame; Those at either side have a corresoponing pair of rivet-holes on the flange.
the whole plate is corroded with active rust. Bright.
