Physical Description

The kukri has the usual blade form with a forward angled blade swelling towards the point. Just beneath the back as far as the angle is a double fuller. On the cutting edge next to the hilt is a semicircular notch interupted by a rectangular protrusion in the centre. The blade terminates in an iron bolster which butts against a wooded hilt having a raised flange just above the centre and pairs of incised bands. There is no end-cap for the hilt.


Dimensions: The length of the blade is 355mm, the overall length of the knife is 470mm. Weight: The weight of the weapon is 0.4 kg.
