Physical Description

Hilt: steel/iron, with cap pommel with backstrap, knuckle guard with two folding branches, retained by a spring catch, to give a front and back hand guard, It has a straight rear quillon and langets projecting over the grip and the blade


Blade: curved, single edged with blued and gilt decoration for approximately one third of its length. It has a long, wide , central fuller each side with a narrow fuller along the back edge.


scabbard : plain steel, fitted with a frog stud and having a curious termination at the tip. black wooden grip.
