A steel engraving, extracted from an unknown publication and clumsily mounted on card, showing a mechanic, presuambly Mr. Perkins, demonstrating a steam gun, mounted on a fixed mounting, to military officers in uniform. Entitled [The Steam-Gun invented by Mr. Perkins] across the bottom of the illustration, there is an diagram of the mechanism in the top right-hand corner. Unsigned.
