Physical Description

The breastplate has a raised neck and a medial keel terminating in a point at the waist, which is level and has an narrow flange. The arm and neck edges have plain inwardly turned, and bordered by double incised lines. The flange has an inward turn, double incised lines. At either side of the chest is a plain swivel-hook, only the right one survives, inside a pierced stud for fastening the shoulder straps. At either side edge is a construction hole. To the left of the centre is a proof mark, almost broken through. Painted black.
