Physical Description

The breastplate has a deep, broard neck and has a medial keel terminating in a point at the waist. Which is almost level and has a narrow flange at waist, to which is attached a broad fauld plate. The arm and neck edges have plain inwardly turned, and bordered by a single incised line. The flange has an inward turn, accompanied by a sunken border. At either side of the chest is a smal mushroom-headed stud for fastening the shoulder straps. The fauld plate is made in two pieces, and is detached at the right. At either side of the fauld are pierced studs for the hasps for the tassets. The breastpalte is bright. The fauld plate is painted black.
