Physical Description

The breastplate is of 'short waisted' form, with a narrow cut-out at the neck, a medial keel terminating in a point, and a waist flange. The arm and neck edges are inwardly turned, The flange side edges are inwardly turned and accompanied by a sunken border. At either side of the chest is a plain swivel-hook inside a pierced stud for fastening the shoulder straps. the waist flange is pierced with four large holes for attaching the tasset-hinges. Painted black.
