Physical Description

Side lock actions, heavily engraved with foliate decoration, in the centre of which is a ribbon engraved with R.BURNAND. The hammers are likewise engraved with foliate decoration. The one piece walnut stock has been chequered around the fore-end and around the wrist, inset into the wrist is a gold escutcheon shield. The trigger guard and fore-end finial are also decorated with foliate engraving, the barrels are held on by a single slide. They are browned with a single plain rib, and three ramrod pipes.
