Physical Description

Consisting of two smooth-bored barrels flanking a triggering device, that consists of two sprung spear pointed rods, when dragged out of their housing by any tugging motion they release a sprung loaded 'T' bar hammer. The contraption is suspended by a steel rod terminating eye holes. Cast into the body of the weapon along the barrels is; HARTFORD. CONN. F.REUTHE'S PATENT MAY 12'' 1857.
