Physical Description

The blade is straight, single edged and of T-section. The hilt has grips of ivory with pitted surfaces, and terminates in a chamfered iiron block heavily decorated with a floral pattern in gold koftgari, which extends over the base of the blade.
The scabbard is of plain chequered leather, with a very small chape.


Dimensions: The length of the blade is 201 mm, the overall length of the dagger being 420 mm and the scabbard being 359 mm. Weight: The weight of the dagger is 0.382 kg, the scabbard being 0.032 kg.
