Places Italy

Of similar form to VII.845-852 (incl.), 1708, 1709 and 2936. Although these were provisionally identified as Hnerician by PJL; this now seems doubtful as the marks on 845 and 846 apparently occur of weapons which are almost certainly later. The mark may be related to those on 846-850 and 852 but is apparently not identical to any of these - on basis of inf. in photos and drawings in marks card index. (PJL, 04/06/99).
