Physical Description

It is of one piece, with a swept brim and a pear stalk at the apex. The main edge has a roped inward turn with a narrow recessed border. The base of the skull is bordered by 14 lining rivet holes. At the rear are two more for the missing plume holder. The exterior is bright but corroding. There are suspension holes at either side and at the rear of the brim, and a large hole (bullet?) at the front of the skull.
