Physical Description

Brass paper knife consisting of flat, elongated leaf-shaped blade with bevelled edges and pair of lugs at base of blade, soldered on to brass bullet. At their junction a pair of recurved tapered brass cones have been soldered to form a 'cross-bar'. A brass button with raised design of Royal coat of arms under 1901 crown within garter (QUI MAL visible), flanked by supporters and the motto 'Dieu et r n Droit' (sic. in IBE - PJL) on a riband beneath, has been soldered into the base of the bullet.
