Physical Description

Of similar design to the 'Queen Anne' type pistols with L-shaped frizzle spring. Lower facet of breech signed H. DELANEY LONDINI.
Plain walnut butt with steel furniture. The tang of the buttplate extended along the comb; an oval escutcheon.
Turn-off cannon barrel rifled with eight grooves, fitted with a lug for a separate unscrewing key. The breech end is contained in a ring which in turn is linked to a swivel under the body of the lock. When the barrel is unscrewed for loading it is thus retained
