Physical Description

It is roughly hemispherical in form, with a slightly flattened top. It is made in one piece, with pairs of narrow vertical slits at the front and at either side of the rear. The lower edge is bordered by thirty lining holes, above which, at the front, is a transverse rectangular slot. Between the slits at the right rear, and directly above their tops, is a large circular hole, possibly for securing the upturned brim of a hat. Painted black.
