Physical Description

Consisting of a one-piece skull, it is roughly hemispherical in form, with a slightly flattened top. It has been subsequently cut with a pair of crude vertical slits at the sides at the front and with an additional pair at each side, each of which has cropped corners at the lower edge. Bordering the lower edge are twenty five holes above which, at the front, is a transverse rectangular slot. Four of the holes have been cut through by the vertical slits and one at the rear has broken out and been replaced, both hof these having subsequently broken out to the lower edge. Between and level with the tops of the slits at the right rear is a circular hole, possibly for securing the upturned brim of a hat.
It is painted black overall, some of which has worn away. The lower edge of the transverse slot has broken out to the lower edge of the skull.
