Physical Description

With pistol grip and wooden stock.Two octagonal twisted barrels. Iron blade dovetail foresight, block dovetail rear sight. Lock markings gold poincons in each with backwards N and figures resembling 28. External Barrel Markings gold poincon in breech with crude LONDON with N's backwards. 9 square grooves. 1/2 lands twist 1/3 turn.
Built like pistol with full grip sloping sharply downward and containing L-shaped locks, the guard and triggers being located forward. Buttstock comes straight back from tang, and has chequered wrist, although it is not possible to grip the stock and still reach the triggers. All iron mounts scroll engraved. Sling swivels along underside of barrel and butt. Ramrod missing.
