Physical Description

All steel one piece blade and hilt with wooden grips. The grips are attached by two steel bolts. Each grip is marked with two horizontal grooves. The pommel has a 'T' section groove and an internally sprung press stud. All steel crossguard with vestigial forward quillon and rear quillon with a muzzle ring 15.5 mm in diameter. Blade with a single edge and a fuller on each face. A scabbard of the first type survives.
