Excavated March 1986 and donated by the London Borough of Tower Hamlets June 1986.

Physical Description

The cascable consists of a button, now missing, and an ogee moulding. The base ring is flat and flanked by two fillets. The vent field is plain with a keyhole vent. The first reinforce ring consists of an astragal flanked by two fillets. The second reinforce ring consists of an ogee moulding. The bell shaped muzzle has a flat astragal and an ogee moulding at the mouth.
The cascable button and both trunnions have been broken off and it is heavily pitted overall.
The marks consist of AN 3me BON (......) chiselled into the base ring
